BOXER TIDBITS!!!
What is the difference between white Boxers & fawn/brindle Boxers??
All boxers are prone to certain conditions that have nothing to do with their color. Heart disease, hypothyroidism, & cancer can afflict any boxer, regardless of color. Because a Boxer is born white does not mean that it is going to be unhealthy. No clinical evidence has been recorded showing the White Boxer is at higher risk for health problems. White boxers are not albino because they have pigment in their eyes, so this is not the cause of their white coat and therefore are not albino. Approximately 25 percent of boxers all Boxers born are white or checked making them quite common. An estimated 18 percent of white boxers are unilaterally (one ear) or bilaterally (both ears) deaf. All boxers have the same genealogy, white boxers are no different. Since they have a white coat, they are more receptive to sunlight and thus have more sensitive skin.
