The information below came from another breeder,

Tagamet & Benydrl used to shrink mast cell tumors

I am posting this on the request of several boxer breeders I have spoken to several Boxer owners regarding their Boxers and cancer. Tagamet and Benadryl was found to shrink mast cell tumors in about 2002 when they shrunk 5 large tumors on a Boxer. One of these over-the-counter drugs encapsulates the T1 cancer cells and the other encapsulates the T2 cancer cells.

The Life Extension reference article is located at:

For boxers recommended dosage -- Use 1 Tagamet 200 mg and 1 Benadryl 25 mg every morningand night for 3 weeks. Tagamet/Benadryl Preventative Therapy Treatment twice a year. The Preventative Treatment is 1 tab Tagamet and 1 tab Benadryl.twice a day for 2 weeks. I do this twice a year. I have only heard of one dog who was allergic to Tagamet.

I hope it can help some of your dogs!

ALSO Check your plastic and latex dog toys. Most are made in China and may contain lead! The polyester toys should not contain lead paint.
